Continuity:- is consistency of the characteristics of persons, plot, objects, places and events seen by the reader or viewer.
Match on Action :- unites two different views of the same action together at the same
moment in the movement.
Shot/reverse shot:- editing technique used for dialogue scenes. First both of the actors engaged in a conversation are shown in a two-shot then the camera cuts in to mid shots and close-ups of one actor and then the other.
The 180 degree rule:- is a basic guideline in film making that states that two characters (or other elements) in the same scene should always have the same left/right relationship to each other. If the camera passes over the imaginary axis connecting the two subjects, it is called crossing the line. The new shot, from the opposite side, is known as a reverse angle.
